Why Fly by the Seat

Three reasons the per-seat model is reshaping how travelers access private aviation.

01

Discreet & Direct

Arrive at a private FBO terminal, skip the commercial lines, and board directly. You get the same privacy and speed as a full charter — just without the six-figure price tag.

02

Far Below Charter Cost

Pay only for the seat you use. On high-demand corridors, per-seat pricing can be 60–75% below the cost of chartering the entire aircraft. The savings go straight to your experience.

03

No Commitment

No jet cards, no annual dues, no long-term contracts. Book one seat for one flight, or make it a habit. You're always in control of when and where you fly private.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about flying by the seat.

It means you purchase a single seat on a private jet rather than chartering the entire aircraft. You share the cabin with other seat-buyers who booked the same departure. You get all the benefits of private aviation — private terminal, no TSA, direct boarding — at a fraction of the cost.
Sometimes, but not always. Empty legs are repositioning flights that would fly empty anyway. We also coordinate shared departures where multiple travelers book individual seats on a confirmed private flight. Both models give you per-seat access to private aviation.
Yes. Each seat includes a standard luggage allowance based on the aircraft type. Pets are welcome on most per-seat departures with advance notice. Specific limits are shown on each route's details page before you book.
Seats can be changed or cancelled up to 48 hours before departure for a full credit. Within 48 hours, changes are subject to operator approval and may incur a rebooking fee. We always offer the option to transfer your seat to another traveler at no cost.
Currently our per-seat network focuses on high-frequency U.S. domestic corridors. International per-seat routes are available on select transatlantic and Caribbean repositioning flights. Join our seat alert list to be notified when international lanes open.
