Terms of Use

Numbered, short and in plain English: the rules for using this site and our quotes. Effective 9 October 2026.

  1. About us. Jet by the Seat is a service of Charter Jet One, an air charter broker. Jet by the Seat is an air charter broker and is not a direct air carrier. We do not own or operate aircraft; every flight is operated by an FAA Part 135 (or foreign equivalent) direct air carrier in operational control of the aircraft.
  2. Figures on this site. Per-person shares, hourly ranges, seat maps and flight times here are planning estimates. They don't amount to an offer.
  3. Quotes. Nothing binds either side until you sign a charter agreement, or confirm a seat purchase under the seat provider's terms. You'll know which carrier operates the flight before you book.
  4. Availability. Seats and aircraft depend on the operator's confirmation, and shared departures can change.
  5. Taxes and fees. Quotes include the taxes and fees we know about when we issue them, such as federal excise tax on US flights. Government charges may change, and day-of-flight extras like de-icing can apply under your agreement.
  6. Cancellations. The charter agreement or seat terms you accepted decide what happens if you cancel or change a trip.
  7. Safety decisions. The carrier flying you holds operational control, and its calls on weather, routing, crew and safety stand.
  8. Liability. Where the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss linked to this site, or for what operators and other third parties do or don't do. Anything the law won't let us limit is unaffected.
  9. Governing law. The laws of the United States and the State of New York govern these terms and any dispute about them.
  10. Updates. We can revise these terms, and the dated version on this page is the one that applies.

Effective date: 9 October 2026.
